B.Grimm Healthcare Heritage
B.Grimm, Thailand’s oldest infrastructure and healthcare company, was founded in 1878. The guiding principle of “Doing Business with Compassion” has shaped every endeavor—beginning with the establishment of Siam Dispensary, the first Western-style pharmacy in Thailand. Siam Dispensary was honored with the title of Royal Pharmacy during the reign of King Rama V, serving the royal family as the official Court Pharmacy and Court Supplier. This milestone marked a significant advancement in the introduction of Western medical practices to Thailand, benefiting both the royal court and the broader public—laying the foundation for B.Grimm’s enduring contribution to the country’s healthcare development, including support for the establishment of Thailand’s first modern medical facility, Siriraj Hospital.
In the early 20th century, B.Grimm broadened its commitment to healthcare by becoming a trusted partner of leading international medical companies such as Merck, Getinge, and ZEISS.
