B.Grimm Power PCL, a Thai-based private power producer, has acquired a 100% stake in Glow SPP1 co-generating assets of 3.3 billion baht ($105.5 million). The acquisition serves to consolidate BGRIM’s growing portfolio. BGRIM operates 19 combined cycle power plants including the newly-acquired Glow SPP1. Last August, it acquired an 80% stake in Phu Yen TTP Joint Stock Company, a developer of solar photovoltaic power projects in Vietnam, for $35.2 million. All acquisitions are part of its plan to boost its total generating capacity to 3,266 MW by 2022.
